Back from the Dolomites: Riding the GT3 Lavaredo and Unveiling the New Panaracer GravelKing ZX
What an unforgettable weekend!
On Saturday, June 20, we headed to Auronzo di Cadore to experience the GT3 Lavaredo firsthand—one of the premier events of the UCI Gravel World Series and the only true gravel marathon in the Dolomites.

Surrounded by the breathtaking scenery of the Tre Cime di Lavaredo, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, we witnessed an epic and incredibly demanding race. The Long Course challenged riders with 133 kilometers of pure Alpine gravel and more than 3,170 meters of elevation gain. A technical and spectacular route featuring everything from fast hard-packed gravel to highly demanding sections, ultimately crowning champions such as Fabian Rabensteiner and Karolina Migon.
The Perfect Debut for the New Panaracer GravelKing ZX
We couldn’t have chosen a better stage—or a tougher proving ground—to unveil, in close collaboration with Panaracer, the latest innovation set to redefine gravel riding: the all-new GravelKing ZX.
Designed to meet the demands of modern gravel riding, the GravelKing ZX is the perfect hybrid tire for maintaining high speeds on both pavement and hard-packed gravel, while delivering the confidence and reliability needed when the terrain becomes more technical and unpredictable.
Key Innovations You Need to Know
Three-Zone Tread Pattern
A nearly slick center tread delivers maximum rolling efficiency, while the transition zone provides smooth braking and predictable cornering. Aggressive side knobs offer exceptional grip through corners and on challenging descents.
New ZSG Gravel Compound
A newly developed rubber compound engineered to minimize rolling resistance while maximizing durability, providing consistent traction over time and in all weather conditions.
TuffTex Casing & BeadLock Technology
The new TuffTex casing reinforces the tire against cuts and punctures without adding unnecessary weight. Meanwhile, the new BeadLock bead design makes installation easier and ensures a secure fit on the rim, even at low pressures, virtually eliminating the risk of burping.

Available in a wide range of sizes—from 35 mm to 55 mm, with 45 mm and 50 mm representing the sweet spot—and offered in both standard and ZX+ versions for maximum protection, the GravelKing ZX perfectly fills the gap between the aggressive GravelKing SK and the faster-rolling GravelKing SS.
We returned from this incredible weekend full of enthusiasm and convinced that the GravelKing ZX is set to become the new benchmark for riders who want to explore without limits.
The new models are already available to order through our B2B platform.
